TCR Alumni in Politics

TCR alumni can be found working in a number of political capacities, and several members and alumni have successfully run for public office. A partial list can be found below.

On November 11, 2011, UT (Austin) College Republicans president Lauren Pierce, who also serves as the Secretary of the Statewide Texas College Republicans tweeted, "Y'all as tempting as it may be, don't shoot Obama. We need him to go down in history as the WORST president we've ever had! #2012." It has caused a ruckus in the blogosphere and offended many Americans.
